In-Transition to MSC program
The In – Transition to MSC (ITM) program is a new tool in the MSC Pathway to Sustainability. It is developed to support small-scale and Global South fisheries committed to achieving MSC certification and improve access to the MSC program and providing a way of independent verification of progress to ensure fisheries are on track to make the improvements needed to pass MSC assessment.
Making Kerala’s deep-sea shrimp fishing sustainable
In 2021, WWF India has been awarded a grant of £44,310 in support of a fishery improvement project (FIP) for the deep-sea shrimp fishery in Kerala, India. WWF-India, in collaboration with a number of partners in the region, aims to help the fishery towards MSC certification by 2025.
